J. K. RISH EXPLAINS ABSENCE FROM MEETING

The Democrat has received a communication from former District Chairman James K. Risk, now of Lebanon, and who is a ‘candidate for the Democratic nomination for governor, in which he regretted his inability to be present here at the recent district organization meeting. Critical illness in his family pre* vented, and he had so written District Chairman Lehman, he stated. Kirby made a good district chairman and would no doubt make a good governor. His opponents for the nomination are Dr. McCullough of Indianapolis and John Isenbarger of North Manchester.
