(From the Tribune) Seymour Hickman was transacting business in Goodland Monday. Mrs. J. W. Martin returned Wednesday from a week’s visit with her folks at Joliet, 111.

Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Stucker are here from Anderson for a vacation visit of a week or 10 days. The Richard Potts family of southeast of town have all been down for several days with the grip. Goldie Miller went to Rensselaer Monday where she will work for Mrs; George Royster this summer. Frank Duvall has been here for a few days from Allentown, Hl., visiting Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Sigler. Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Spangler of Oxford spent a few days, this week with Mrs. Spangler’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Dirst. Ethel Murffitt returned Thursday from a visit with relatives in Chicago. She attended a masquerade party in Morocco Friday night. Miss Florence Caffyn of Indianapolis made a short visit at George Hopkins’s Sunday. Miss Caffyn was one of the teachers in our schools here last year. Faster Brunton went to Indianapolis Saturday evening to visit William Burrell, who is in a sanitorium there. Mr. Burrell shows signs of improvement,, so we are told.
