JAMES J. HEWITT IS DEAD
Funeral and Burial Held Here Yes* terday Afternoon. James J. iHtewltt, who had been at the Longcliff asylum at Logansport for the past year, died at that institution Sunday at 1 a. m. from hardening of t’he arteries. The remains were brought to this city Sunday night overland by W. J. Wright and burial was made in Weston cemetery yesterday afternoon at 4 o'clock, with brief funeral services at the grave. Deceased is survived by his wife, but no children. Mrs. Hewitt Is a sister of Mrs. Luther Hecu|phill and Mrs. A. O. Moore of this city.
