RALSTON NOT SEEKING HONORS

Tndiana>polis, Feb. 28.—Samuel M. Ralston, former governor of Indiann, reiterated a former statement that he would not be a can* didate for that office at a meeting of the Indiana Democratic state committee here today. Mr. Ralston said he would lend all his 'support to Dr. Carleton B. McCulloch ot Indianapolis. , It was not expected that a definite date for the state Democratic convention would be fixed at today’s session and that only routine organization of the party

would be discussed. Leading Deo ocrats expressed themselves as much pleased with the way political conditions are shaping up in the state, as they believe Republican troubles are working for the heme- * fit of Democratic success.
