QUESTION OF BOND ISSUE

Municipal League Resolution Is Presented to Governor. Indianapolis, Feb. 28. —-A resolution adopted by the Municipal League of Indiana was presented to Governor Goodrich today by a committee co«n|posed of J. N. Graham, vice-president of Franklin; M. C. Vennet, South Bend, and Robert E. Tracy, director of the bureau of governmental research at the Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce. The resolution, which was adopted at a meeting of the league at the Chamber of Commerce Thursday afternoon, requests legislation that 'will permit proper officials in the various imJunicipali.ties to authorize bond Issues, fix the tax levies and incur necessary indebtedness for the proper conduct of city affairs, the state tax board .to have only appellate power in such cases..
