Chicago, Jnn. 23. —Chicago's 24-hour Influenza record was shattered as the twin ijlagues continued to spread throughout the city, und downstate reports Indicated that the epidemic was becoming state-wide. Two thousand two hundred and twenty-six new cases of influenza and 237 new c-uses of pneumonia were reported, while 48 deaths from pneumonia and 31 from Influenza occurred.
