We are Indeed sorry to lose Mr. Sticknoth from Jasper county.

Frank Foltz suffered a stroke of apoplexy several days ago and 'has since been confined to his bed, but on inquiry yesterday The Democrat was informed that he was better but not yet able to be up. Mr. Foltz’s many friends hope that he may fully recover. * Marriage licenses issued: January 20, Melvin William Struble of Deni otte, aged 28 March 10 last, laborer, and Celia Catherine Curtin also of Demotte, aged 29 May 28 last, housekeeper.
