NEW RUSAL ROUTE EXTENSION

On No. S Serve* 88 Additional Families on This Route. An extension has been granted by the poatofflce department on rural route No. 2 Out of Rensselaer of about seven miles, that will serve 23 more families. J. W. Smith, who resides on the Dr. Kresler farm east of town, was Instrumental ik getting up the petition and securing the extension. The service will begin next Monday, Nor. 17. The carrier, on his return trip, will turn east at the Norman corner gnd go three miles esst to the second stone road running south; thence south 1 % miles to the Pleasant Ridge road; thence west three miles to Rensselaer. The route extension will be over all stone roads and serves an unusually larger number of families for the distance covered.
