Minnie H. Thomas

Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Morris Thomas, was born in Jasper county, Ind., July 22, 1875, and departed this life Nov. 5, 1919, at the age of 44 years, 3 months and 13 days. Her early life was spent in and around Rensselaer. Being in poor health 13 years ago she went to Canada and from there to California, and finding no relief sne returned to Indiana about two years ago, making her home with her aunt, Mrs. John Putt, where death relieved her suffering. In her girlhood she united with the Christian church and lived a true Christian life. She leaves to mourn her departure a father, two brothers, Jacob and Charles, and one sister, Mrs. D. V. Holdren, besides a host of relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at her late home at 1 o’clock Friday, Nov. 7. Services were conducted by Rev. W. T- Barbre, pastor of the Christian cHurch of Rensselaer. The remains were laid to rest in Weston cemetery, Rensselaer.
