Liege.—One of the humorous incidents of the German occupation of this city 18 that of the arrest by German police of a parrot on the complaint that It had repeatedly called out, “Down with the Boches.” „ According to the story the parrot was kept prisoner for a month. The woman who owned It finally convinced the German authorities that the parrot could not pronounce “B,” and the bird was released. _
