A GOOD SHOWING WAS MADE

By the New Bank in Its First Week of Business in Rensselaer. An Informal meeting of the stockholders of the new Farmers & Merchants National bank was held at the Barnes restaurant Monday evening. The meeting was well attended by the stockholders, who had as their guest Chas. W. Coen, cashier of the Merchants National bank of South Bend, who gave them a very appropriate talk. Following the meeting very nice refreshments were served by Mr. and Mrs. Barnes. Pres. George A. Williams made the principal talk of the evening, and Cashier J. P.
