Governor james m. cox of Ohio says concerning the new program: "The purpose and plan of the Junior Red Cross appeals to me greatly. Development of international understanding and good win can be given no place in a comparable measure with the undertaking among children," "I have examined your plans with interest," writes Governor J. P. Goodrich of Indiana, "and it gives me pleasure, Indeed, to indorse the proposed work of our school children to assist in relieving suffering in Europe.” V. O.
