As Its Share of Auto License Fees for First Six Months of 1919. In the distribution of automobile license fees for the first six months of 1919, Jasper county gets back >11,519, which is >1,970.17 more than received last year for the sJßme period. The state registration fees for the first six months this year netted >1,359,388.47, or >124,356.90 more than for the period in 1918. This is the last big dlstrlbutioh to the counties. The 1919 legislature provided that after the end of the year the receipts should go to the state highway commission. The receipts of the last six months of the year will be the only other to go to the counties. The receipts for that pexjod are smaller by far than for the first half of the year when all the automobiles must obtain new licenses. The licenses issued to date 4his year exceed by approximately 35,000 the number issued in 1918. The department in the first six months Issued 19,143 more sets of plates than it did in the corresponding period last year. The issue of sets up to July 1 was near 246,203. The issue to date has passed the 260,000 mark. , The entire 1918 issue was approximately 227,000.
