THREE SPEEDERS ARE GRIEVED
When Car Goes Down 80-Foot EmMnkment Near Brook. Blake Wilson and Buck Harrington of Goodland were in a bad automobile accident Sunday this side of Brook. They were in Wilson’s car and the latter was at the wheel. Just this side of Brook the car left the road amd went down the 30foot embankment into the bayou. Six fence posts and a number of saplings were broken down. A barbed wire on the fence caught young Harrington under the chin and cut his throat so deep that the windpipe and root of tongue were exposed. The car remained on its wheels and was driven to Goodland before medical attention' could be given Harrington. It Is reported that Wilson’s car can make 80 miles and that It was hitting the high spots when the accident occurred. Mr. Wilson recently paid a fine at Brook for speeding.—Kentland Enterprise.
