Phone Employees Strike.

New Albany, July 3.—More pay and recognition of the union is demanded by striking telephone operators and linemen of the Home Telephone company. The exchange was idle during the day. Employees of the Cumberland Telephone company will strike insympathy if their grievances are not adjusted, the strikers declared.
