Velocity of Stare.
From the spectroscopic measurements made at Mount Wilson observatory to determine the radial velocity of stars (1. e., the speed with which they are approaching or receding from our solar system), it appears that the star A. G. Berlin 1366 has a radial velocity of 839 kilometers per second, the highest constant velocity so far observed for any star. Next to this comes Lelande 1966, with a velocity of 825 kilometers pes second, In the opposite direction.
