RECEPTION FOR NEW MEMBERS

On last Tuesday evening a very delightful reception was tendered the new members of the First Christian church, who have been received since February 1, when Rev. W. T. Barbee began as pastor of the church. The official board and all former members acted as hosts and hostesses. Seventy new members have been received during this period. A large number were present during the evening. The following program was given: Piano solo, Miss Ellen Kressler; vocal solo. Miss Ruth Daugherty; reading, Miss Marjorie Merlca; violin solo. Miss Ora Kepner; address to new members, Dr. W. L. Myer. After the program refreshments of ice cream and cake were served.
