Judge Hanley on Monday appointed Frank Cox as Inheritance tax appraiser for Newton county until further order of court. Also appointed M. J. Wagner as official court reporter for this, the thirtieth judicial circuit —composed of the Jasper and Newton circuit courts, and fixed his salary as >l,440 per annum —same to be paid half and half by the two counties. —Kentland Democrat. Complaint alleges that the parties were married December 20, 1911, and separated on April 1, 1919. Cruel and inhuman treatment is charged. Plaintiff asks for a divorce and the custody of their child, Maurice Edward Headlee, aged 6 years.
