UNPRECEDENTED RESOURCES

Three Banka in Rensselaer Have Nearly $2,000,000. The Democrat desires to call the attention of its readers to the splendid showing made by the Rensselaer banks in their reports published in this issue. Their total resources are 12,406,743.01, with deposits of 11,981,121.03! One bank alone reports resources of over >1,000,000, exceeding the resources of any bank in our neighboring counties except Lake, of course. And this deiplte the great demands made upon our city and community by'' the several war loans and other war work. The total resources of the six banks of Jasper county is nearly >3,500,000 and reflects the prosperous condition of our people as a Whole. Jasper county is fast forging to the front, and with good crops the coming season we shall no doubt see a million dollars at least added to these resources in the next 12 months.
