Mrs Milroy Sigman of Wolcott, Mr.'and Mrs. Will Sigman and son of Gilboa, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Schaffer and family of north of Remington, Mr. and Mrs. Chester Sigman and baby of near Rensselaer, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Degrow and Hattie and Arthur Sigman, all of Goodland, spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Sigman and daughter Mattie of Remington. Mrs. Sigman has been very sick ■for several days and is improving slowly. A birthday surprise was held at the home of John Mikesell northeast of Wolcott Sunday, it being his 59th birthday anniversary and Mr. and Mrs. Mikesell’s 35th wedding anniversary.. There were 34 present. Those from a distance were Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Breachiel, a sister of Monticello, Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert White and son of Logansport, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Mason of Brookston, Mr. and Mrs, George Miller and two children of Lake Cicott. Powers, deceased, will offer for sale at public auction at the late residence of said decedent, in the city of Rensselaer, Jasper county, Indiana, on SATURDAY, the 19TH DAY OF APRIL, 1919, the personal property of said estate, consisting of household and kitchen furniture, beds and bedding, carpets, rugs, stoves, coal, wood, canned fruits, and other articles too numerous to mention. Said sale to begin at 2 o’clock p. m. Terms —All sums of $5 and under cash ini hand; over $5 a credit of not to exceed six months will be given, the purchaser executing his note therefor, bearing 6% interest after maturity, waiving relief, providing for attorney’s fees and with sureties thereon to the approval of the executor.
