RAINS CAUSING HIGH WATER
And Lowlands Art Flooded in Various Parts of the State. Friday night we got a regular April ehower, with plenty of lightning and considerable -wind. Saturday and Saturday night -was also rainy and rain fell again nearly all es Sunday night and Monday, swelling the river to the highest point perhaps it has been in nearly two years. Considerable of the wet district in the northeast part of town was under water Monday and the water was so deep along the raftroad, at the oil stations, •that neither the Standard nor Indian oil trucks could reach their Alling stations. These rains were followed by rising temperature and wheat an<4 grass. 1/ greening up, while the buds will soon be starting on the fruit trees if this weather keeps up a few days longer. The Tains have made It very wet in the fields and dirt roads are generally impassable. In many sections of the state, along the rivers, the lowlands have become inundated and considerable damage has resulted. Yesterday was quite pleasant, and apparently the rain was over with. At least it is hoped so for the present.
