The regular meeting of the Marion township War Mothers will be held this (Saturday) afternoon at the court house. County Superintendent M. L. iSterrett, County Assessor G. L. Thornton and Township Assessor James Bullis of Jordan township were Lafayette goers Thursday. Trustee John Rush of Newton township has moved his office from rooms over the G. E. Murray Co. store to the I. O. O. F. building, where he will occupy quarters with Trustee Poetill of Marion township.
Marriage licenses issued: March 4, James K. Delehanty of Wheatfield, aged 33 November 16 last, farmer, and Vivian Jones, also of Wheatfield, aged 22 January 22 last, teacher. First marriage for each. President Frank Foltz requests a full attendance the court house Monday afternoon at 1:30 of all Jasper county people interested in bee culture, and hear Prof. Baldwin on spring and summer management of the apairy. New suits filed: No. 9020. Peter Hordeman and Emma Hordeman, petition for adoption of Henry Henderson. No. 9021. Emmet L. Hollingsworth vs. Amos J. Fess et al; action on note and mortgage. Demand $4,730. No. 9022. Sadie Erwin vs. John W. Erwin; action for divorce. The complaint alleges that the parties were married January 6, 1917, and separated on February 16, 1919. Cruel and inhuman treatment is charged.
