BUYS OUT MOROCCO COURIER
IxMtey Miller and Walter Lynge Purchase Newton Co. Paper. Lesley Miller and Walter Lynge o( this city closed a deal Wednesday by which they secure the Morocco Courier newspaper plant, and will take possession of same the latter part of the month. Mr. Miller, who is an all around newspaper man as well as a printer, will have active charge of the paper, which has a good field and 'has been a success for many years. He will move to Morocco, but Mr. Lynge expects to continue to reside here, The Democrat understands, as he will not be connected with the management of the paper. Mr. Miller has had considerable newspaper experience, having conducted the old Mt. Ayr Pilot for some years, later being employed on the Kentland Enterprise, Jasper County Democrat and for the past few months on the Rensselaer Republican. W. H. Myers, who has owned and conducted the paper for the past few years, expects to move to Salem, where his wife’s people reside and from which part of the state he came when locating at Morocco. The Democrat extends best wishes to the new finm as well as to the retiring editor.
