CLOSING BAN EXTENDED
At a meeting held Friday evening by the county and city health boards it was decided that on account of a large number of new cases of influenza it would be advisable to continue the rigid order against all public gatherings until Friday, November 15. In connection > with the above your attention is called to the following telegram: Indianapolis, Ind.,' Nov. 1, 1918. Dr. Frank Hemphill, , County Board of Health. State Board of Health closing order expires at midnight Novemberber 2. Recommend ban should not be lifted in your county except as you think advisable Direct you confer with city health officers. Decide restrictions necessary, then advise State Board of Health. Continue daily reports. Make this public. J. N. HURTY, Secretary State Board of Health.
