CHRISTMAS ROLL CALL.

Now comes the Christmas Roll Call, December 16-23. It/is proposed by the Red Cross War Council that in lieu of the usual sale of Red Cross Seals at Christmas Mme —this Roll Call for universal membership in the Red Cross be made. This is a war-time measure and specifically for the year 1919, and this action of the War Council is prompted by the desire to insure, so far as may be, the maintenance and deVelopment of antituberculosis work during the coming year, rather than to have its support contingent upon the usual sale of Christmas seals at a time when the country is being asked to consider so many important-ap-peals to its sympathies and resources. > This Woll Call will be conducted by the local Red Cross Chapters with the co-operation of local antituberoulosis associations —and > is expected ta he the most memoralMe campaign ever - conducted by these two great organizations.
