NOTES FROM COUNTY HOSPITAL

Mrs. Alfred Randle underwent an operation for obstruction of the bowels On Tuesday night, and for a time was in quite a serious condition but at this writing she is doing nicely. A daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Ritchey, who reside on the Delos Thompson farm east of town, on June 19. Allen Prather of west of Parr was brought to the hospital Thursday evening for medical attention. Charles Fleming of near Mt. Ay* was brought qver Thursday night and underwent an operation for appendicitis at 2 o’clock yesterday morning. He was brought to the hospital in Wright’s ambulance about midnight, and was considered a very critical case. It was found that the appendix was ruptured. Yesterday afternoon he was retorted to be doing as well as could be expected. ' ■ Mrs. Charles Britt and babe went to their home in Barkley township yesterday. - Dorothy Frye was able to be taken to her home Thursday. Mi% Gladys Groom, daughter of Joseph Groom of Barkley township, underwent an operation for aippedicitis Wednesday.
