Warren Gratner, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Gratner of Barkley township, Underwent an operation for appendicitis yesterday morning. Forest, nine-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs, Albert Fairchild of Demotto, had his adenoids removed Monday. Cecelia Callahan, daughter of T. M. Callahan, had her tonsils removed Saturday. Mrs. John Brown of Brook, Mrs. William Kresel of Barkley towinship and Bert Lewellen of Demotto underwent major operations Monday and at this writing are doing nicely. . .Grandmother Myers of Greensburg, Pa., in her ninety-seventh year, has changed her mind abbut 'he kaiser.
