LEAVES FOR WASHINGTON
Lieut. DeVere Yeoman Spends Bnt Few Days With Family. Lieut. Devere Yeoman, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. K. Yeoman of west of town, who returned the last of the week after several months service in the Engineers division in France, spent a few days with his family here and left last evening for Washington, D. C-, to report for duty. He will probably be assigned to training work in this country, as his actual service on the fighting front has given him an insight as to what the American engineers must know to be efficient. Lieut. Yeoman talks but little of his experiences on the battle front, as the government has evidently cautioned him as well as all others to u'se discretion in making public utterances, and not much informa-tion-can be gotten from him. De-verc-js looking and feeling fine. f The Vail Rensselaer club gave a supper at the" ViakeeVer House for Lieut. Yeoman Monday ervening, at which about twenty-six members were present. Lieut. Yeoman gave a very interesting talk at the supper and each member of the club was glad to -be there.
