EXTREMES IN TEMPERATURES

Following is a list of the extremes in temperatures since 1881 as taken from the official records of the government weather station at Purdue university. The lowest temperature registered was 33 below zero in January of both 1885 and 1887, while the highest was 105, which point was reached in July of the latter year. This gives cause to believe that we may also have some extreme hot weather next summer following the execssive cold of the present winter. The extreme temperatures recorded follow: Low Temperatures.
