Member of American Defense Boclety Makes Statement. New York, Jan. 25.—Fourteen spies have been shot since America entered the war, C. §S Thompson, member of the executive committee of the American Defense society, declared at a luncheon given by that society. It Is Information the public should know, he said. Two of those suffering the death penalty were from Detroit, Thompson asserted.
