Charlie Marchand and family Tuesday evening. Miss Jessie and Henry Dolfin called on Ivan and Iva Blankenship Tuesday. Johnny Dougal, Charlie Frye and Albert Cainphell called on James Blankenship Tuesday. Lonzo Wood and sons Russell and Clyde and Lewis Swartz were McCoysburg goers Monday. W. B. Fisher and wife, George Foulks and wife and Mrs. Lillie Mitchell were Lee goers Tuesday. Mrs. Lillie Mitchell and Mrs. George Foulks helped Mrs. W. B. Fisher cook for snow diggers Wednesday. William Chapman, Oliver Hamilton, Charlie MeCashen and Henry Dolfin took a walk to McCoysburg Monday. Mrs. Albert Dolfin left for Kokomo Thursday where she will spend a few weeks with her daughter. Mrs. Albert J, H. Horn, and family.

count of the snow and cold , wea* ther. About twenty men from here put in the day Monday shoveling snow from the wagon roads leading to this place. Several of our men and boys were helping clean the snow from 1 the railroad switches at this place the first of the week. Last Simdtay was such a severe day the janitor did not open the church at all, the first Sunday that there were not services at some time during the day for a long time.
POSSUM RUN Carl Stockwell hauled wood for John Price Sunday. Lyde Ward spent Sunday with T. J. Parker and sons. ; T. J. Parker and son Everett were Gifford goers Monday. Quite a few in this neighborhood are on the sick list this week. Charlie Parker is the owner of a “tin Lizzie” at this writing. Miss Goldie Hurley called on Mrs. Isaac Marlatt Wednesday morning. The farmers in this vicinity have been busy clearing the roads for the school hack. The big snow storm last week blockaded many of the roads, but they are ' being pretty well opened now.
