HELD A GOOD JOINT MEETING

Odd Fellows and Rebekahs Exchanged Ideas Thursday. The joint district meeting of the Odd Fellow and Rebekah lodges of Jasper county was held in this city Thursday, and a very interesting program was carried out. The addresses of I. N. Warren and W. L. Wood were very interesting as will as patriotic. Horton Bros., with their excellent music, added a new feature this year, and their efforts were well applauded. Miss Florence Gorham gave an excellent reading, entitled “The Wandering Boy.” She was assisted by Miss Littlefield and others. On account of storm and the meeting coming on the 13 th, many of the superstitious ones did not attend.
