WELSH FARM SOLD AT $184
Rensselaer Butcher Pucrhases More Land Near This City. There was a good sized crowd of bidders out Tuesday afternoon to the sale of the Welsh farm one mile south of Rensselaer, and the sixtynine acres was sold to Milt Roth of Rensselaer at $lB4 per acre. The twenty-five acres belonging to the Welsh estate but detached from the sixty-nine acres, was not sold at the auction, but Mr. Roth also bought this later in the day at private sale at $125 per acre. The seventeen acres formerly owned by Leslie Clark, was sold to Tony Keiper at $l6B per acre. Among the bidders at the sale were Harley Bruce, D. H. Yeoman, Charles Spencer, Riley Tullis, William Clouse, Alva McCashen and Milt Roth. It is understood that Bert Welsh will accompany Harvey Davisson and others to Gloster, Mississippi, next Tuesday with a view of investing there if pleased with the country.
