INJURED A MAN IN CHICAGO
Frank Howard of Remington Struck Stranger With Auto. r An unidentified man was knocked down and his skull fractured at Twenty-sixth street and Prairie avenue by the automobile of Frank Howard of Remington, Indiana. Howard took the man to Mercy hospital and reported to the police. —Monday’s Chicago Tribune. Aside from the above very little information has been received here, other than \ report that the man struck by Mr. Howard had since died and that the latter was being held there pending an investigaion. Reports from Remington Thursday evening were that Mr. Howard had not yet returned there and but little was known of the accident, which happened Sunday, according to the Tribune. Mr. Howard is engaged in the farniture and undertaking business at Remington and is one of the ■aost respected and conscientious men in Jasper county.
