HARD COAL FAMINE RELIEVED
Three Cars Received and Urgent Demands Are Supplied. Three cars of hard coal were received by the local dealers Wednesday and were quickly passed out to the people in one-ton lots, which has greatly relieved the demand although insufficient to supply quite all who desired coal. However, it is expected that more will be received in the very near (future and the situation is much more encouraging than it was a few days ago. Several cars of different kinds of soft coal have also been received in the past several days and practically all demands have been supplied. Through the efforts of the local and state coal administrators it is thought that future supplies â– are assured.
