FRENCH MAKE THREE RAIDS
Prisoners and War Material Taken In Night Attacks. Paris, Nov. 9. —“During the night we made two surprise attacks, one on the enemy trenches east of Reims, the other in the Woevre, east of Noullly, and brought back prisoners,” says an official statement. “In Upper Alsace the attack we made on the German positions at Schoenholz, it is now learned, caused the enemy to suffer heavy losses. The number of prisoners captured by us has reached 121, of whom two are officers. Important materials which we have thus far not been able to enumerate, fell into our hands.”
