BRITISH FLYERS BOMB FOE

Factories, * Railways and Germans Troops Attacked. London, Oct. 20'. —An official statement on uerial operations reads: “Factories and railway communications in the vicinity of Saarbruckeni were attacked by our alrplune squadrons with excellent results. More than! three tons and one-half of explosives were dropped on the Burbach works, Just west of Saarbrucken, by naval machines. The damage caused was considerable; many fires were observed. “One hundred aink fifty-four bombs were dropped during the day on the enemy’s billets, 12 heavy bdtpbs on on airdrome near Courtral and 71 others on German troops in trenches and In the open. "At times the fighting was severe. Four hostile machines were downed by our alMplanes, one was shot down by our Infantry and three other machines were brought down out of control.
