FOOTBALL GAMES ANNOUNCED

Independent Teams Arrange Fall Series of Contests. At a meeting of the four leading professional football team managers of Indiana at Wabash last Sunday a league ’Was formed and a schedule outlined. Clare Rhode of Pine Village. Jones of Wabash A. C., Blocker of Hammond and Suedhoff of Fort Wayne were present. Owing to the unwillingness of the Fort Wayne Friars to guarantee return games, the team was not included in the schedule. The schedule agreed upon follows: October 21— Pine Village vs. Wabash at Wabash, October 28—Wabash vs. Hammond at Hammond. November 4—Hammond vs. Pine Village at Lafayette, November 11— Wabash vs. Pine Village at Lafayette. November 18—Hammond vs. Wabash at Wabash. November 25—Pine Village at Hammond.
