Peru. Aug. 3.—The. Hoosier classic tournament at Peru closed in a blaze of glory. The heat waves have been tempered: and 55 men and women entered the contest, The banquet given by the citizens of Peru to the members of the All-American team of wingshots, with a spread of 400 plates. was a sure success. The program for the last day Was 100 16-yard targets. The classic handicap, 100 targets 16 to 25 yards on the 116-yiird targets in the amateur ranks, C. 11. Peek was high with 100 straight, Dr. 11. M. Robinson was runner-up: both hail from Kempton. The professionals Were led by Jay Graham and M. Kennietit, with 100 straight. Toni Marshall, secbnd, with f<».
