4 IOWA GERMANS ARRESTED

Prominent Citizens of Lowden Held by Federal Agents, for Treasonable Utterances. Cedar Rapids, la., Aug. 3.—Four prominent German citizens of Lowden, near here, were arrested by federal agents on charges of making treasonable utterances. Those attested were Albert Schaeffer, sixty-five, retired farther; William Relchman, sixty-five, furniture, dealer; Ernest Meier., sixty-five,' retired farmer, and Carl Gerhl, thiri-y-six, farmer.
