SPLENDID SELECTION
Last Friday Charles A. Greathouse was elected Democratic state chairman in place of Bernard Korbly, resigned. The party ,1s to be congratulated on having such a man as Mr. Greathouse to fill the vacancy caused by the resignation of Mr. Korbly.. Mr. Greathouse has served as state superintendent of public instruction, which office he has filled to the satisfaction not only of the teachers of the state but the taxpayers as well. .’.He made an excellent . superintendent and will make an excellent chairman, as he not only has great ability as a politician but believes in serving the folks who employ him well. So far as we have any record.
and we have followed his career closely, he never held any position that he has not filled well, in most cases better than it has ever been filled before. / We prophecy him an excellent career as state chairman, and believe under his leadership the party will 'agin resume control of state affairs.—Owen County Democrat.
