John Reed and family autoed to Rensselaer Friday*. Marion Faylor spent Sunday with Arthur Florence. Miss Gladys Harrington and John Mayor spent Sunday in Fair Oaks. Misses Elsie and Jessie Zellers spent Sunday with Miss Gladys Ogle. Col., W. A. McCurtain is helping to erect the pickle factory this week. Mr. and Mrs. William Terpstra visited over Sunday with home folks. ■ Mrs. Thomas Florence called on Mrs. James Wiseman Monday afternoon. Earl. Wiseman spent Saturday and Sunday in Remington visiting friends. Little “Billy” and Lucile Cooper are visiting their sister, Mrs. Bernice Weiss, in Chicago. The Rev. and Mrs. Fleckinger took Sunday dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Frank Middlecamp. Missess Bertha and Ada Florence spent Sunday with there parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Florence. Mr. and Mrs. W. W. son Dean took Sunday dinner with Mrs. Zellers’ parents, Mr. and Mrs, T. J. Mallatt. Mr. and Mrs. James Wiseman and son Kenneth were Sunday guests of Jasper Cover and family of near Laura. . Rev. Myers, one of our old-time pastors, while visiting old friends here, delivered a fine sermon Wednesday evening. George Cover and family autoed to Demotte Sunday and spent the day with his sister, Mrs. Luther Frame and family, George Cover has been having quite a serious time the past week with blood poisoning In otfe of his feet, caused by the shoe rubbing it.
