AT OFFICERS’ TRAINING CAMP
Four Thousand Young Men So Far Have Been Accepted. F. D. Burchard, Frank Hardman and Donald M. Beam have been accepted as members of the officers* training camp at Fort Benjamin Harrison, where they now are. The training will conclude in about three months and if they are then accepted they will enter the regular service for the duration of the war. Mrs. Burchard will be in charge of the variety store here during her husband's absence. Bradley Ross has also been accepted for service ahd is now in training at Fort Sheridan, Illinois. Others from this vicinity who have been accepted for training are as follows: J. L. Dawson, Harry Dibble and Earl Robinson Duff, Wolcott; Horace K. Heath, John A. Anheier, Walter A. Simons.
