NEWS FROM COUNTY HOSPITAL

Ted Watson was operated on yesterday afternoon at the county hospital for hernia. 1 Miss Frances Dluzak of near Remington is recovering nicely from an operation for the removal of her tonsils. i J. B. Ashby, the Mt. Ayr merchant, underwent an operation at the county hospital early Monday .morning for bowel obstruction, and I notwithstanding his advanced age reports from him are quite encouraging'. Mrs. Clara Coen, who has been at the hospital for several weeks receiving treatment for partial paralysis, is recovering very nicely and with the exception of a slight affection in her right arm, is feelfrig as well as %she has for some time. Gene, the little 8-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. ’ Theodore Wynegar, who had been quite sick for the past week, was operated on Saturday nigltf at the county .hospital for mastoiditis caused from tonsilitis. The operation was performed by Drs. Swazee and Arnett of Lafayette and a local physician. It was quite a serious operation but at this writing the boy seems to be doing as well as could be expected.
