DO WOMEN WANT TO VOTE?
The efforts of Indiana women to secure the ballot have been successful, and they can now vote for a limited number of public officers if they wish. But the question now uppermost is will they really want to vote? A perusal of the Indiana election laws, passed before the women were entitled to vote, of course, discloses the following pertinent sentence: “The voting booth shall be so curtained that eighteen inches of the voter’s legs are visible to the board.”
