SPRING IS OFFICIALLY HERE

Officially this is the first day of spring, and the weather bureau promises us even warmer weather the balance of the week. , Yesterday was a beautiful day, however, and, in fact, we have not had a very bad March so far, taken as a whole. Frost 8 ’ is not yet out of the ground in places and it has been cool enough all along to prevent any undue start of fruit only to have it nipped by later freezes. Except for a few cold, raw winds we have had a very nice month Indeed, with very little snow or rain ’ and the roads as a rule have been very good.
