NEWS FROM COUNTY HOSPITAL

Mrs. J. N. Leatherman had her tonsils removed at the county hospital Friday.

Simon Fend'ig, son of Mr. and Mrs. B. F. Fendig, had his adenoids removed at the county hospital Friday. • ' '

Mrs. Calvin Cain, who was operated on at the Jasper county hospital last Thursday afternoon for been, lying at the point of death for the past few days and little hope is entertained for her Recovery, although yesterday noon she was thought to be perhaps a trifle better. Two transfusions of blood were given her her husband giving up the blood, but it apparently had little effect for the better, and- that she had not passed away eye this is surprising. She has been unconscious for most of the time since Saturday.
