WALTER W. TAYLOR IS DEAD

Was a Brother of Mrs. T. .T. McCoy Formerly of Rensselaer. Mrs. Henry A. Taylor of South Ninth street received a telegram yesterday announcing the sudden death of Walter W. Taylor, for many years a resident of Lafayette. Death occurred Tuesday in New York city, but the particulars were not given. Mb. Taylor was a son of the late Major and Mrs. William Taylor and was about 60 years old. He was born in Lafayette and left here about thirty years ago, going to Redfield, South Dakota. For a number of years he had oeen engaged in selling irrigated lands in the West. He lived the past year at Glenwood, Illinois. For a number of years he resided in Chicago. Besides the widow he leaves a sister, Mrs. T. J. McCoy, of Grand Rapids, Michigan.— Lafayette Journal.
