2.620 LEAD IN NORTH DAKOTA
Bismarck, North Dakota, December s.—President carried North Dakota by a plurality of 2,620, according to figures issued today by the state canvassing board. The vote was: Wilson, 55,271; Hughes, 52,651. Porter J. McCumber, Republican, was chosen to succeed himself in the United States senate by a vote of 57,174 to 41,078 for John Burke, Democrat. Representatives in congress: Helgesen, Young and Norton, all Republicans, were re-elected by pluralities of 8,170, 13,892 and 12,112, respectively.
