Physician Calls to See One Casp, Finds Thirty-four. Portland, November 20. —Thirtyfour cases of smallpox in thirteen homes in Greene and Jackson townships, all in the same school district, were discovered this morning by Dr. M. M. Moran, county health commissioner of Jay county, when called to quarantine one home. Portland physicians have been sending medicine into the district for two weeks, but none of them had been called to see any of the patients until last night. > The teacher of the school, ill of the malady, has been at the school daily, not knowing what the nature * of her was.
